The SHEM Steering Committee 2023-2025

The Steering Committee (SC) represents the movement, guides the strategy towards its mission, and encourages a sense of belonging of all its members and their participation. Its assemblage aims to achieve a suitable balance between representatives of high-income countries (HICs) and low- and middle-income countries (LMICs – the “global south”). Reflecting the diverse nature of the movement, the SC also tries to have a balanced representation of health and other professionals, and practitioners, academia, scientists, and activists.

We are excited to join forces with the World Health Organization and other partners to drive positive change toward sustainable health equity. Together, we will quest for new legal tools and innovative actions that create the conditions for all people and future generations to attain their best health potential.
